Autumn Sommers dreams of a little girl named Molly, witnessing her kidnapping in the dream. Haunted by the memory of a past dream that came true, Autumn is determined to find out who Molly is, particularly as the dream keeps returning to her, over and over again. Her search leads her to wealthy sporting goods store owner, Ben McKenzie. Will Autumn be able to convince Ben of the truth of her dreams in time?
Kat Martin once again delivers a powerful romantic tale! The dreams add a delightful touch of the paranormal to a very emotional storyline. The romance between Autumn and Ben is quite touching and one can’t help but cheer them along as they follow their hearts in their search for Molly.
THE SUMMIT touches on a theme that is near and dear to me as a social worker- the abduction and subsequent exploitation of children. Ms. Martin addresses the issue of missing children in a sensitive manner while still bringing it to the attention of readers. Just as Molly’s fate is uncertain throughout the tale, so are those of all of the missing children today. Through the eyes of Ben, one can really get a glimpse of the pain and suffering the families left behind must go through.
THE SUMMIT is yet further proof of the talent of Kat Martin. I didn’t want to put this one down and it took every ounce of restraint I had to not peek to the end. Kat Martin showcases her incredible writing skills with this beautiful tale that is a testament to the strength and enduring quality of love. THE SUMMIT is a keeper!

My son read this book and loved it so much he insisted I read it too. It’s a page turner! He’s finished the 5th or 6th book now and absolutely loves ‘em all.
Frankly, there really is nothing to review. I have not received my purchase. I have emailed the seller who claimed on August 12 she would expedite another one, and still have not received that as of August 21. Now, why would you automatically say you would send another one before you even attempt to track the first one you claimed to have sent, unless you’ve never sent it. This has been the worst service I’ve ever had with Amazon. It took me awhile to even begin purchasing anything from Amazon for this very reason, and definitely is the reason I will be hesitant to purchase anything else.
That’s why we’re loosing jobs. But I’ll still buy it.

I didn’t much care for the book if I could pinpoint one thing I had a problem with it has to be the fact that Holden Caulfield is a jerk and a somewhat comical figure really who deserved everything that happened to him.
This in and of itself does not make the book a bad book the annoying part is that this is one of those books that attracts a really snobbish fan base think Atlas Shrugged, Brave New World or Lord of the Flies only if you can believe it Catcher in the Rye fans make Aynn Rand fans look sane. To those people I say reading a book that someone else wrote and having a strong opinion about it does not in and of itself make you an intellectual. If Catcher in the Rye was you’re introduction to the world of literature I can respect that but there are better books to read once you have finished this one Catcher in the Rye is not the end of the road.
